An IBCLC or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant is a trained allied health care professional who is trained to help mothers resolve their breastfeeding challenges. This can range from latching difficulties, providing suggestions to treat a breast ailment, advising on increasing or decreasing you milk supply as well as other breastfeeding-related questions.

Families can get the help of an IBCLC to visit them at home at any time during their breastfeeding journey. A home visit allows me to look at how you breastfeed your baby, whether your baby is getting the right latch and even how you use the breastpump. I am also able to suggest treatments should you have a breastfeeding ailment.

I am also able to assess your baby’s latch and oral development.

I will also be able to answer any questions you may have related to your breastfeeding experience.

Typically, most parents are able to resolve their breastfeeding challenges within one consult, with a virtual or WhatsApp consult to follow thereafter if necessary.

I also offer discounts on follow-up home visits if you require more than one session.

Our virtual consultation works via video call. We will have a chat on video call and you are free to show me how you latch your baby or how you use a pump, among other things you can ask about, too.

Virtual consults are great if you are unsure if you need a home visit or if you are not ready to receive visitors.

Nonetheless, should you decide to schedule a home visit with me after our virtual consult, you can enjoy a 30% discount on one subsequent home visit after that.

This is a special workshop that I can curate for you and your female friends or family members.

I understand that not everyone is comfortable attending with their spouses or prefer to come with a female companion, whether a fellow mummy or a family member.

Do note that all attendees are required to make a separate booking.

There are also no discounts for attendees from the same family as the workshop prices have been competitively pro-rated.

While I attempt to respond to your queries within 2 hours, and urgent queries will be prioritised, do expect slower responses between 11pm-8am.

All consultations, no matter the platform, allows me to understand and offer you suggestions and advice on how to improve and troubleshoot your breastfeeding challenges.
